Mun runs a warm, friendly, fully insured private practice based in Thornton Heath, Croydon.

Mun aims for your visit to be informative and therapeutic and in certain cases will use an exercise programme to help you regain strength and mobility.

What is Osteopathy? 

Osteopathy is a Healthcare profession which focuses on diagnosis, treatment, prevention and rehabilitation of the Musculoskeletal disorders and other related disorders.

Osteopaths use a variety of specialised techniques in order to bring change to how your body behaves and functions; you can find more information regarding techniques and terminology in the Glossary.

We are trained in advanced Anatomy & Physiology, Neurology, Orthopeadic examination and manual manipulation.

There are different approaches in Osteopathy; Structural, Classical, Visceral and Cranial Osteopathic approaches although, they may differ the aim of your treatments are the same; reduce discomfort, increase mobility, manage pain control, encourage balance, ease and repair. 

Here at MMW Osteopath Mun has been privileged to of been trained using all four approaches, your treatment plans are tailored to your bodies specific needs.  

What to expect 

Your first appointment is between 45 Minutes -1 Hour, follow up appointments are generally 30 Minutes.

You are welcome to bring someone with you to your appointment/s, you may be required to remove some of your clothing; please say if you are uncomfortable with this, you may bring shorts and T-Shirt/Sport Bra. Robes and towels are provided.

Recommended Items to bring with you: 

Shorts, T-Shirt / Sports Bra, Medication list, X-Rays and any medical reports you may have 

Previous medical history, thorough examination, discuss concerns & treatment plan based on examination findings, discuss benefits and any risks of treatment or adverse effects to treatment, offer follow up appointment. 

Consultation Process:

Re-assessment, discuss recommendations regarding Posture awareness & exercises. Discuss what to expect after treatment and next steps. Welcome pack - Packed with helpful information and your "Just for you" card.
